Peer Support Program (TEACH): Region wide workshops and peer support services are offered for adults and youth (age 16 and older) who are dealing with ongoing mental illness.
Acton Transitional Housing Support and Ready4Life Program:The Region of Halton has agreed to fund a home, in Acton, for S&HH to house 5 young adults (ages 16 to 24). the youth will receive case management support, help in developing a life plan, resources and skills developments unique to each person. Other components of the program will include workshops on self esteem, anger management, communications, anxiety-stress reduction, etc. When the indivuduals become stable and have acquired reasonable life skills, it is anticipated that they will transition into more permanent housing, with the support worker monitoring their progress.

Open Door & Off the Wall Youth Centres: Youth Centres supporting youth ages 9-19 in a caring, safe environment. Guidance and problem solving strategies are offered by qualified youth workers.
Community Support:This program provides general support, assistance and advocacy services to people in Halton Hills including: a transitional housing program, needs coordination and holiday hampers for people experienceing financial difficulties. They also coordinate the Winter Warmth program on behalf of United Way of Halton Hills.

STEPS forward: Men's Outpatient After Care at Halton Recovery House: this program is a men's outpatient after care program at Halton Recovery House. It provides two hours of weekly group support, education and follow up for up to 2 years. The men continue to learn relapse prevention techniques, as well as alternative coping strategies and skills. The men are connected with community resources and receive help in maintaining a substance free lifestyle.
